BMW R60/ 7 1977. Owned by myself for the past 4 years.
47285 miles.
Supplied from new by Gus Khun Motors of London in 1977.
In original unrestored condition. No permanent modifications. A small screen is fitted, and a BMW rear rack and pannier frame. A detachable top box is included but no panniers.
Tyres are both Avon Road rider, 3. 8mm front depth, 4. 5mm rear.
The machine shows normal wear and tear marks as to be expected. Paintwork on tank has been touched up in front of the badge, on both sides, and has some chips and small dents on the rear right, next to seat. The tank has also been lined internally.
The front mudguard has a small chip from the lower edge, on both sides. The left headlamp bracket has some black paint worn off, next to key lock.
Side panels are suffering slightly from the common problem of microblistering.
Chrome grab handle missing from right side, above side panel.
Exhausts are in good shape, though balance pipe has some surface corrosion.
Silencers are stainless steel, with the left side having had a couple of weld plugs.
Engine starts and runs very well. Running on points ignition. I have done regular 100mile trips, never missing a beat. The gearbox gives the usual clunks when cold, but fine when warmed up.
Includes toolkit and hand air pump, also a special tool for removing exhaust flange nuts.
Comes with a large history file, including 19 previous MOTs. Haynes workshop manual, rider's booklet, and service booklet.
