Late Phase 2 pre-cat model, rare non-sunroof shell, owned since 2005.
112, 600 miles with massive history file and bills dating back to the 1990s including the first MoT.
Fully restored at 101, 000 miles and in exceptional condition throughout, drives faultlessly, just had new MoT and full service including cambelt and water pump replacement.
Restoration completed in 2017 including the following:
Engine stripped and cleaned then components balanced before being rebuilt by Storm Autos in Witney.
Cylinder head rebuilt with multi angle valve seats and ports matched to free flow manifold and custom stainless steel exhaust.
Gearbox rebuilt.
Body stripped inside and out to rolling shell and fully resprayed in the original colour Alpine White, photographic evidence available.
Professional rust prevention treatment.
Interior refreshed with front seat bolsters replaced.
Original Speedline wheels refurbished, unmarked.
This example is stored in an Airchamber and is in superb condition throughout.
Any inspection welcome. This car was restored for myself and my wife to use as a holiday car. The engine has been balanced for smoothness, I've installed additional soundproofing and the gearbox rebuild by Pugracing included fitting the fifth gear ratio from a 205 diesel for much more relaxed motorway cruising. We've since enjoyed it on multiple UK holidays touring Somerset, Devon, Dorset, Shropshire, Pembrokeshire and Kent.
