A brand new Triking Type 1 long chassis built from all new components and the parts from a single donor 'bike that had covered only 700 miles from new in 1990.
The car passed through MSVA inspection on 31/ 05/ 24 and is registered from 01/ 05/ 24. It has covered no mileage other than a drive around the MSVA test centre.
The engine is on carbs. and is the high torque 948 version favoured by Triking as being the nicest engine/ final drive combination to suit the car. The car has been built to a high specification and includes a modular rear wheel with a Blockley 165 tyre and combined brake/ hand brake caliper, stainless front wheels with Heidenau tyres (all tyres contain OKO puncture preventer), competiton spec. calipers and discs, stainless fuel tank, quick release steering wheel, reversing gearbox, Hagon shocks, Brazilian Mahogany trim etc. Unlike early Type 1 versions, this one is able to accommodate tall drivers with big feet!
This an unusual opportunity to acquire a new Triking at a price far below the build cost which was well north of £20K.
It is for sale with considerable regret but for a genuine reason.
