This Tuono is the later “Facelift” spec that includes the Gen 2 engine and full set of crash bobbins as standard.
I've owned this bike for the last 5 years. It is the best bike I've ridden in 50 years of motorcycling. However, due to age and commitments, it is time for another to enjoy it.
The bike has full history, MOTs, receipts and stamped service record, 2 keys and tool kit.
It has Pirelli Angel tyres front and rear, in good condition.
The addition of Aprilia Performance 422 rear-sets has enabled the rear brake reservoir to be relocated. This common addition addresses the rear brake issue some have reported with this model. The clutch has also been upgraded. The prop stand has been improved with an R&G prop stand extension.
The aftermarket exhausts are much lighter than the originals (which are available) and sound lovely.
I have added Beowulf radiator and oil cooler guards.
The battery was replaced less than 200 miles ago. It had a new alternator and rectifier in March.
There is a battery conditioner lead fitted. There is a paddock stand to go with the bike if required. The Tuono is, for me, more comfortable than my BMW and more responsive than my Ducati. Check out standard power to weight ratios and you will see what I mean.
