A124 in azure blue, with mushroom leather, electrically adjustable and heated seats, and wind deflector. I have owned this car for 10 years and it has been used daily as our family car or for my work travel. As such it runs very well and has been serviced (oil and filter change) at least twice a year, the drivetrain is excellent. Recently the rollover headrests have deployed and can’t be retracted, and a retraction cable has separated from the canvas roof (which needs replacement). All very fixable with someone like Cayman Auto, but time and a new job with much more time away and travel means I am selling as a project. The photos were taken a few days before the roof played up.
In terms of condition, it has been used as a family car and the exterior and interior are in useable condition, it’s been entirely reliable but there are several things that would need doing to make the car either back to daily use are areas of wear on the seats and other plastics. Highlights are: butler modules not working, small rust patches in front arches, an intermittent squeak in the heater fan, cuts in the carpet by a previous owner, and so on. It’s a magnificent car to drive, so relaxing and looks worth more than it is when the roof is down, and the sun is out!
