Description
Suzuki GSXR 750 R also known among collectors as the "RK". The super-rare race-homologation only 500 were produced, and just 200 for the European market, in order to get the FIM homologation. This unit is in perfect condition and is part of our private collection. It is in running condition and has no accidents, falls or structural damage. The paintwork is in its original condition. The documentation of the bike is all in order (Spanish documentation, European Union). The GSX-R used 41mm forks, flat-slide carbs, triple 300mm drilled disc brakes, 18-inch wheels and magnesium rocker covers. With its four valves per cylinder and low weight of 388 pounds, about 70 pounds less than its rivals, the motorcycle produced 106 HP at 10, 500 RPM and 120 HP at the rear wheel, giving it a 160 MPH top speed and making it the lightest and most powerful 750cc production motorcycle of all time. It handled beautifully, the power delivery was manageable, and it did amazing things on the racetrack in the hands of Kevin Schwantz and Mick Grant, who won the 750 Production TT in 1985 and the World Endurance Championship in ’88. All the pictures have been taken by us in our studio and show the actual condition of the bike. However if you are interested we can send you more pictures and videos. The bike is currently in Spain but can be shipped worldwide (depending on the conditions and with the costs being covered by the buyer). Please do not hesitate to contact us if you need more information about the bike, we are more than willing to discuss and provide information about this unit. We acquired this unit as part of our private "Super-bike collection" and it has had the honor of sharing a garage with masterpieces of its time such as the RC30 or the ZXR 750R. This is a very special model of which only 500 were made and it is estimated that there are less than 200 left in running order or in acceptable condition. Its design is beautiful no matter how you look at it and the fact that it is so hard to find makes it even more of a collector's item desired by many.
