Description
For the first 73 years of it's life the car was owned by three people who lived in the same village (Pool in Wharfedale). It has been fully restored, and is fitted with a standard 100E engine. Comes complete with a brand new hood and side-screens, plus a tonneau cover. The paintwork is in very good condition, and overall the car looks very smart.
Comes with some spares including Aquaplane inlet manifold with 1. 25 SU carburettors, and Aquaplane exhaust manifold.
The car has been dry stored since the renovation, and only used occasionally on fair weather days. The original owner was very successful with the car and won lots of trophies. It was the second owner (a mechanic who worked with the original owner) who undertook its restoration. (More information is in the photo of a letter that I've included in the advert).
