Has not been modified or welded and is standard stock height.
Original engine authenticated by birth certificate from VW museum, with a mileage of just 62000
New headlining and new carpets fitted by VW upholstery specialist Bernard Newbury just before he retired.
Original seats and doorcards
Stainless steel bumpers. Hubcaps are re-chromed originals
Mechanically the car has been very reliable throughout my ownership with a few parts replaced, such as a coil, battery, fuel pump, inlet manifold, bulbs etc - it starts and drives perfectly.
Still has original heater channels and the underside of the car still retains the underseal that was applied when the car was new in 1967 (I have verified this by talking to the son of the original owner of the car).
I have owned and enjoyed this Beetle for 11 years. I believe it was repainted in the original L633 Blue in 2011. There are just a couple of paint bubbles but overall the car looks fantastic as can be seen from the photos.
