’59 Fiat 600 Jolly by Carrozzeria Ghia.
This is a genuine Ghia- built Jolly and was originally a Taxi on Catalina Island here in California. It is a matching numbers car with California black plates. Original color was deep coral red. I searched for many years to find a real Jolly and tracked this example down in Lake Havasu near the London Bridge.
I have had the tubular bumpers rechromed, and a new canvas surrey top made, but otherwise the car has just been stored in my garage for many years. Car is in need of restoration. All the Jolly-specific parts are there, and restorable. The seats were redone by the previous owner in vinyl, but I have a quote to restore them in wicker for $2500. The body needs rust repair on the underside. Repair panels are included. Mechanical parts are standard Fiat 600 which are cheap and easy to find.
Every enthusiast needs a genuine Jolly in their collection - this example has potential to be one of the best. Located in Southern California. I can assist with export arrangements if needed.
