Supplied new on the 30th May, 2000 by Arundale Peugeot in Scarborough to its first owner, an elderly couple who used the car sparingly and always kept the car safely garaged.
The excellent gleaming red paintwork is totally original without the typical fade that you often see. The classic plaid grey interior is in wonderful condition and far less gaudy than most of the 106 special edition interiors. The car has covered an extremely low mileage of only 27335 miles and supported by its VOSA MOT history.
The car starts on the button. It’s truly basic and analogue, no central locking, no electric windows or PAS, just old school and very easy to maintain. Nothing really to go wrong. It’s also exceptionally economical.
It’s a lovely cheerful starter classic or first car for someone who loves retro character and an engaging car to drive.
I have just had the cambelt and water pump professionally replaced for future peace of mind. The MOT is valid until 28th October, 2025.
