Description
This is a very rare Falcone NT from the last batch of 400 built by Guzzi for the Italian civil and military police. This example was supplied to the civilian police and was probably a blue/ white coloured 'bike but could have been red as it is now. I have an authentication certificate from the factory confirming it's supply to the police but this does not tell us anything about the colour scheme!
The machine is in lovely lightly patinated condition, the only deviation from standard being a Mikuni carb. which works very well - the engine idles like a steam traction engine! In other respects, the NT was built using components from the Falcone Sport model so it can be fairly said that the NT represents the very last of a great line. The recorded mileage is 33, 600.
It will not take much to return the 'bike to police spec. which was my original plan, indeed I can supply a genuine police siren (deafening!) and a pair of original leg shields if needed. I am disposing of a number of Guzzi singles at the moment since I have had to stop riding, so do check back for future listings.
