Description
The car is a 1957 Buick Super Riviera Model 56R (2 Door)
It has its Original 364 Fireball V8 engine with its Original Dynaflow transmission.
It is believed to be wearing its original paint with its original interior which would benefit with a retrim or accept that it’s 68 years old and embrace its originalism.
The car is 99% standard/ original and only modifications is that the car has had is an electric fan fitted running on its own digital thermostat and the front has been lowered to give it more of a level look, other than that it’s completely stock. The centre silencers removed to give it more of that distinctive V8 sound.
Clock, radio, interior lights and heater fans all work.
The paperwork that came with the car, along with the previous advert from America shows it to be a 2 owner car in the States before it was imported to the UK where it’s had one previous owner.
There is extensive paperwork with the car such as service paperwork from the 60s, 70s and 80s etc. and original brochures.
The car has had the oil pump rebuilt with new internals and recent filter and oil change.
The Buick has some Fantastic patina with that baking Sun, which I did consider about respraying it for sometime however it’s 68 years old and every blemish has a story behind it. And it’s only original once. Personal clear coat the car and call it done.
Out of every Classic American car I’ve owned this one has turned more heads and seen more smiles than all of the put together.
I would look at a cheaper part exchange and would definitely be interested in doing a deal or a Harley Davidson
Thanks for looking.
