A very genuine, low road tax, low owner 2005(55) Aston Martin V8 Vantage 4. 3 manual in Midnight Blue with Caspian Blue interior. Owned by previous mature lady from South Kensington for 17 years having bought it from her brother at one year old (he bought it new from Stratton Motor Co).
63, 000 miles, has visited Aston Martin Works Service no less than 6 times, along with other well regarded garages and specialists. It has just received a service and a clean bill of health from Prestige Auto Technik in Wimbledon (used for many years).
MOT until 11/ 10/ 2025.
It drives without fault and is rare to find such a genuine car with such low ownership.
Some bodywork required and needs alloys refurbishing.
Bodywork - some bubbling along bottom of passenger door, small bubble by passenger door lock (see photos, both common issues), dent in driver door/ rear panel (see photo) and a crack in the fibreglass wing next to the offside headlight (see photo), plus the odd very light scuff (barely noticeable and will likely polish out - see photo). A couple of paint blemishes on wiper arms and nearside mirror arm.
Interior wise, it is in great shape with just expected mild wear on the driver's seat bolster. The cogs need replacing to raise/ lower the sat nav (very common fault, see YouTube guides).
Factory spec as follows: Midnight Blue over a Caspian Blue interior, HID headlights, Alarm upgrade, Heated seats, Power fold mirrors, heated windscreen, Sat nav and 19" 7 spoke alloy wheels.
A bargain given the very low (family) ownership, low mileage for year, gentle use, originality and great colour/ spec, plus the benefit of low road tax being an earlier car, and the best seats too.
Reason for sale... having always wanted an Aston Martin (and despite this one having the early style bucket seats) I convinced myself I had enough headroom, but I don't to properly enjoy it. I am 6’ 3. 5” and very long in the back so normal people will find it more than spacious enough. And my similar height son doesn't fit in the passenger seat (no seat height). I am replacing three cars with one, which I am due to purchase in the new year.
