For sale is my much loved MEV Exocet.
This is a fully road legal kit car, properly IVA’d and registered in October 2019. It currently has a valid MOT until September 2025. I think the car has only done around 50 miles since the last MOT! And probably 2k miles since being built!
If you don’t know these kit cars, they are based on a Mazda Mx5. This particular Kit was built from a 1997 MK1 with a 1. 8 Na engine.
The car starts and drives perfectly as any good Mazda would.
The key bits on the car are:
Team dynamics pro race wheel with Nankang Ns2r tyres
Gaz gold shocks with custom springs (car was professionally set up and corner weighted)
Full superpro polly bush kit
Custom exhaust made and fitted from cat back. This was made to be compliant with track noise test, yet still sounds nice.
Rcc Fibreglass seats. These were imported from Portugal and personally think are super comfy.
Acewell digital dash.
There are two spare sets of wheels with this and also a front spoiler which is brand new and was purchased with the kit but never fitted.
I believe this is the only Exocet made in the Cadbury Purple colour. I opted for the shark nose bonnet also, as I wanted this car to be different from the rest! This is a proper head turner. I know this colour wont be to everyones taste, but this could be easily wrapped to a colour of your choice for a minimal cost.
This car Is ready to drive. Or strip and rebuild with out the hassle of IVA.
All the paperwork is present and v5 correctly registered in my name.

This cost over 12k to build and I believe this is fairly priced to sell.
I’m not interested in swapping for anything. Silly offers will be ignored. This is a head turner. Its not your standard looking kit car style. Great to drive. I belive this is the only Exocet in this custom colour. Looks great in the flesh.
