Purchased as a 65th birthday present (to myself), and only for sale due to an ankle injury making riding difficult - hence the very low mileage of only 1050.
Purchased from local main dealer. Run-in patiently and with meticulous care. Ridden carefully at all times. Never been out in the rain As well as the unique colour scheme, the SE specification includes top-of-the-line Ohlins suspension and uprated front forks which give an excellent supple ride and well-controlled handling.
This SE model comes with the unique 'Yellow Ball' paint scheme - black metalflake which shimmers in the light, contrasting yellow and those lovely gold wheels. It is stunning.
Also unique to the SE is top-of-the line Ohlins suspension, and Brembo 4-piston brake callipers. The spec also includes ABS and traction control, a multifunction computer, LED headlight, etc. In-line four-cylinder engine producing a compelling 110bhp yet returning 55mpg.
As summarised above, thoughtful upgrades include the manufacturer's heated grips which integrated into the bike's controls, not extra wiring and external switches; Kawasaki 'heritage' tank badges in white and with classic script (and which make a surprising difference when compared to the silver modern tank badges the bike comes with). The radiator is protected by an Evotech radiator shield, and an Evotech 'tail tidy' cleans up the rear end. Whilst researching before purchase, I read the Z900RS model is prone to collecting stone-chips on the front of the tank and to protect the gorgeous metallic paint I had an expert do a bespoke fitment of high-end XPEL paint protection film, before first use. It is virtually unseen and provides great peace of mind.
Just like a brand new bike with sensible upgrades included.

BIKE magazine whilst road testing the SE described: "first rate handling"..."the suspension is supple and the ride is weighty and reassuring"..."this engine is so sweet, it overflows with old-school whooshing four-cylinder drive. Brilliant noise, too"..."So, we have a roaring engine, comfy riding position and tip-top handling."
I've been riding for over fifty years, and I completely agree. Should you feel inclined to unleash the full 110bhp, the performance is pure dynamite, and the handling and braking are up to the job easily inspiring confidence.
It draws admiring looks and comments wherever you go and has the style and aura of a classic bike whilst being extremely easy to live with. Starts first touch of the button, everything works just as it should of course.
It is a substantial bike that has that ‘cut from solid’ feeling, yet it is very well-balanced and light to steer…making it a joy to ride slowly or quickly, in traffic or on the open road.
