Description
Firecracker yellow.
Excellent condition for age, both mechanical and cosmetic.
Original wet weather gear included and in great condition.
Also includes new SoftBits for Seven shower cap for trips away.
Current owner almost 2 years, bought from a dealer.
Always kept in a dry, warm secure classic storage.
Large folder of receipts and work done since new.
Dealer service 500 miles ago.
Other work done in my ownership:
- New battery
- New plugs and leads
- Changed gearbox and diff oils (the latter is rarely done)
- Rebuilt and tuned carburettors
- New fuel regulator
- New thermostat and temperature sender
- Installed 123 Tune+ Bluetooth distributor (huge improvement)
- Racing mirrors fitted allowing door-off motoring (originals included)
MOT until June (advisory free). If this sells before it expires I will get a new MOT done for the buyer. Great drive and fantastic noise from the classic Kent crossflow and upgraded Weber 45s.
Excellent handling from the DeDion chassis.
Turns heads wherever it goes - this is not a subtle car!
I now have 2 other classic cars and unfortunatley I don't get near enough opportunity to spend time with it.
Instead of languishing in the store it needs to move on and be enjoyed.

Update 30 May 2025
In preparing the car for the MOT next week I checked the spark plugs which gave me a chance to do a compression test and poke a borescope down a coupe of cylinders.
Compression test values (engine warmish) were
#1 155 psi
#2 155 psi
#3 155 psi
#4 160 psi
These are well within the 10% cylinder to cylinder tolerance and good values for an engine not fully hot.
I have attached a borescope picture showing clear cross-hatch patterns which may suggest the engine has been refreshed at some stage or has just worn well. This ties in with the low oil burn (for a Kent - it's all relative).
I can also confirm that the block is the robust AX casting
