For sale here is my Marlin Cabrio.
Professionally built for its first owner in 1991, the car was recently subject to a full nut & bolt rebuild in 2022, including an engine rebuild and body off/ apart professional paintwork in Land Rover ‘Epsom Green’ metallic.
Currently on 25874 miles, it has only covered about 750 miles since the rebuild.
As you can see from the photos, the car is absolutely stunning and looks very classy in Epsom Green. It sounds fabulous too. It really is every bit as good as it looks in the photos, probably better, and certainly turns heads wherever it goes.
The build quality and attention to detail are superb and I’m confident you could not find a better Marlin Cabrio anywhere. The car has just been valeted inside and out so it’s completely ready to go for its new owner.
Correctly registered on the V5 as a Marlin Cabrio with the 1983 registration date of the donor Ford Sierra, it has the cherished plate MSK 283 (recently valued at £1750), which is included in the sale. The car is not registered on a Q plate.
Also properly registered as ‘Historic Vehicle’ class on the V5 it is now MOT and road tax exempt, although it has successfully passed two MOTs since being rebuilt (the last expiring in 2024) before it moved to Historic class this year and became exempt.
Fitted with a 2. 0L Pinto engine and Weber carburettor, coupled to a 5 speed Sierra gearbox. The engine was also fully rebuilt in 2022, including an unleaded head conversion and tubular manifold amongst a host of other new parts.
