FIA HTP till 2028. Competitive turn-key race or tarmac rally car with freshly rebuilt 202bhp engine.

Specification includes:
* Fresh 202bhp M10 engine with lightweight rods, JE pistons, KM race rockers, 316 Schrick cam, Weber 48DCOEs, baffled sump, Ireland windage tray, double oil catch tank system. Rare rhd exhaust manifold and 2002 Turbo exhaust system. Still tractable enough to drive on the road.
* Fully Poly bushed suspension with specially built Gaz FIA compliant extra camber struts and rear dampers. Uprated adjustable rear trailing arms and anti-roll bars.
* 5-speed Getrag dog leg CR gearbox. Uprated 4. 1 ratio 2002 lsd by specialist Dinis Gomez in Portugal.
* BMW ventilated front brakes. US imported Hawk pads and rear brake shoes.
* Set 6 Minilite style 8” wheels with choice of Yokohama or Toyo tyres ( both supplied).
* Plumbed in fire extinguisher ( 2026) system
* Custom foam filled 92 lt long range fuel tank by Pro-Alloy .
Still has steel bonnet, bootlid and doors so eligible for Legends/ FIA G1 pre 1970 class .

* Results include class success and podiums in CSCC ‘Swinging Sixties’ , Top Hat Spa and race/ rally Tour Britannia (twice) including fastest laps. Class pole position Nürburgring ‘Nordschliefe’ Marathon ( ahead of 5 other BMW 2002s) . 4th in (unlimited capacity) Class at Spa 3 Hours.
Originally built from a bare shell by Chris Greenwood of Cambridge Motorsport, it has been improved and updated over many years with many cherrypicked parts from around the world.
