This magnificent CL600 was purchased new from Mercedes Benz Park Lane in London by the wife of a wealthy pharmaceutical company owner who lived in Sonning by the Thames but had a Villa in Portugal and a Chateau in France. It was a 50th Birthday present from her to him for use between the Villa and Chateau. It was part of a collection of other high end cars and used sparingly over 19 years until the owners death in 2019. He had the car serviced by Mercedes in Portugal but also sent the car back to the UK several times to have it serviced by MB in the UK.
I bought the vehicle during the Covid Pandemic from his widow and for many reasons it took a year to arrange shipping to the UK. I had the car recommissioned in the UK at huge cost and then it went into temperature controlled storage and I have now decided to sell it. I have other Mercedes but as I have sold my property abroad I do not need this specific one any more.
The car was always and has always been garaged.
