44000 Miles since original rebuild, however the Engine was overhauled again to fit the rear crank Seal kit (special adaption for a lip Seal), at that point new bearing shells were fitted as were the thrust bearings. All work Activity is written and expenditure recorded with invoices in a history file. Modifications and appreciative upgrades include:
• MK2 1275 engine lightened balanced, with open road cam, roller rockers, rear engine oil seal conversion, oil cooler fitted, stainless exhaust manifold, and stainless exhaust system.
• 1 1/ 2” Su carbs, Aldon automotive distributor and Magnacor leads ensuring reliability.
• MK2 Front disc brakes, uprated lever arm shock absorbers and later double acting wheel cylinder rear brakes from a MK2 (replacement shots readily available i. e. mini), with converted telescopi rear shock absorbers.
• Ford 5 speed gearbox conversion allowing a cruising speed at low engine revs.
