Here we have a well cared for and much loved classic Beetle. The overall condition is very good, both inside and out as can be seen from the pictures. The car is an original example with gleaming 'jasmin' paintwork, and always garaged in our ownership. The 1300cc engine starts well and runs without fault. The underbody is in great condition and has benefitted from a recent (oct 24) restoration and lanoguard treatment. The interior is all original, with the period correct horse hair seats, and an upgraded stereo with period correct look. The interior floor mat has seen better days, but has been left for the new owner to decide whether or not to carpet the interior. All the routine maintenance has been carried out with recent, valve adjustment/ oil service and brake overhaul. All in all a good investment and a usable, original example. Original 'birth certificate' from the Volkswagen Museum in Germany. Lots of paperwork over the years from previous owner. Recent MOT test for peace of mind. Any questions please ask. This is my wife's car that was originally purchased some 6 years ago, while the kids were still young, and we could take it to car shows. In our time the car has never let us down or left us stranded, and it has been a regular exhibit at the local car shows. We've had some great adventures in this car and will be sad to see it go. It gets a lot of attention wherever we go and always draws comment from enthusiasts. Unfortunately as the kids are now older, and life is busier, we just don't get the time to use it. So it is time for someone else to take charge and enjoy it just as much as we have.
