Description
NOW SOLD!!! My delightful 1968 Triumph 1300, a charming compact saloon in excellent condition. Well-maintained and solid, with smart exterior and very tidy interior. Comes with a full workshop BMC Folder, Haynes manual, and car cover. I have spent unreservedly on her to include upgrades during my ownership at both MBVR and Phoenix Classics (receipts), include a clutch replacement, brake servo system upgrade, alternator conversion, electronic ignition, gearbox rebuild, including the all important uprated output gear, roto-flex couplings, brake pipes, and anything else that was needed. Low engine mileage of 57K believed to be true, (read on), with recent service and current MoT to 26th March 2026, though doesn't need one, I MoT'd when I purchased her and thought it right to get one put on to sell on as continued validation, condition, mileage etc. The previous owner replaced the speedometer @ 56243 miles for a speed reading fault apparently, ( I still have this), and maps to MoT history, the new Speedometer reads 846 miles currently, and was logged when I had the MoT in 2021 after I purchased the car. Additional spares included. Also has Digital radio/ MP3/ USB/ BT/ stereo, 12VDC socket fitted and electric washer pump, instead of the pressure finger pump they use to have for what its worth.
I believe this is to be one of the better ones still on the road today. Sad to see her go, but not using her, driven less than 1K miles since I purchased her as maps to the MoT History. £2995 or very near offer. Having bought a 1300TC version as my first car at 17 in 1978, this was a journey of nostalgia to own one again, hence why the brake upgrade and alternator upgrades etc. A great comfortable drive, always loved the window winder handles that folded up. Wooden dash and door capping's, informative dashboard and Just a great little car back in the day and this one is still today.
