After 60 years of motorcycling I am very reluctantly selling some of my collection. This 650 BSA is one of them. It's just too heavy for me. This is a really special bike. Restored some years ago at huge expense it looks good in the pictures but is even better in reality. Invoices for just under £9000. 00 are on file. The engine was completely rebuilt by SRM including new pistons. Crankshaft rebuilt with new forged conrods. New high flow oil pump, new monobloc carb, new clutch and too many other new parts to list. Stainless steel wheel rims and spokes. Hagon suspension units. Magneto and dynamo both rebuilt. Gearbox rebuilt by SRM with many new parts. It was used for a short time after the work was done then dry stored by a previous owner. It starts easily and everything on the bike works as it should. Lovely to look at in my workshop but it needs using and my days of moving bikes like this about are over. As I discovered when I bought it ! Registered with the DVLA the V5c is in my name. Tax and MOT exempt of course.
