Hartech engine rebuild at 104, 346 miles which included a full Wossner piston set with new rings & 6 aluminium alloy Nikasil plated cylinders to suit, timing chain set and guides, crankshaft bearing set, 2006 onwards intermediate shaft (IMS) with larger improved bearing & low temp thermostat. Also, cylinder head overhaul, new oil, filter coolant, etc. new rear brake pipe sections, new track control arms, new front forked exchange arms, new front brake discs and pads, New coils and plugs, new aircon condenser and much more - all done by Hartech at a cost of 12, 000. This desirable wide-bodied C4S in Metallic Basalt Black has been in my ownership for 11 years. Recent work includes having new rear discs and pads, refurbished back boxes, all 4 wheels refurbished, front brake-pipes replaced, new radiator fitted, oil and filter change and in Jan 2026 6x new coil packs and spark plugs.
