A recreation of one of the iconic Tour de France Service cars from the 1960's. Based on a low mileage and rust free car purchased in Holland then registered in the UK where the modifications were made. This is the only car of its type with the authentically cut down rear doors allowing mechanics to work on the bikes while on the move. The custom made roof rack will carry 5 bikes and 8 front wheels and 8 rear wheels. The rack has been modified to take either standard forks or through axle forks. It has the unique TDF air horns. I've owned the car for about ten years, it's been to bike races all over Europe many times. The Michelin tyres are almost new. It's completely reliable and the canvas covers on the back doors are watertight even in the worst conditions. I have the original rear doors which will be included in the price. The car is completely reliable and comfortable, there is some wear on the drivers seat as can be seen in the photos. It's been back and forth to Italy about 6 times without issue, followed the Tour on several occasions and done almost all the classics at least once.
