Triumph Stag - solid, straight, well-sorted car.
1973 Mark 1 with Triumph 3. 0 litre V8 and automatic gearbox, in Olde English White with Shadow Blue interior and a navy blue soft-top.
The car sounds glorious and mechanically is in very good condition all round. It starts, drives, rides and stops very nicely. In my 10 years of ownership it has always been reliable and has no overheating issues.
It comes with its factory hard-top and has a matching set of recent tyres. Over the years it has had sensible upgrades such as electric fan, electronic ignition and stainless steel exhaust. Underneath the car is in very sound condition. There is a good history file and I will include a car cover in the sale.
While this Stag is fully roadworthy and ready to enjoy immediately, as you can see in the photos the body and paintwork do need attention in places. This would make a straightforward project for a competent DIY restorer, and once done this will be an absolutely lovely car once again.
Asking price reflects current condition - huge potential at £6450 ono.
