An opportunity to buy an historic Mahindra Chief, The Mahindra Company made under licence from Willys to build using the Peugeot 2. 112 litre engine.
This is a Model CJ540.
Condition of bodywork is in good condition for a vehicle of 33 years old.
In 2023 the head gasket was replaced and a thorough clean & build of the engine carried out.
It has 2 main front seats with side bench seats behind. Having owned this for 20 years it still makes me smile when I drive it and it still turns heads as there is just nothing like it. It's such a fun vehicle. Although it only comes out of the garage on dry days it is well worth getting taking it out. But it's time for me to have a new adventure so has been a tough decision to decide to sell it as it now needs someone who will enjoy it as much as I have and use it more regularly.
It does have a template to make a new roof and comes with the framework to support the roof and canvass doors for driver & passenger sides.
The Mahindra has to be seen to be enjoyed and appreciated.
