The Formosa captures the style of the era. This car is not a 'replica' of any particular make, and therefore does not have any copyright issues. Correctly registered as a Formosa on the DVLA V5C.
It is a rebodied car and retains its original number, and historic status. Road tax exempt in UK. Car has 12 months MOT. 3 previous keepers.. Non transferable registration mark.
The car is based on a 1600cc straight 6 Triumph Vitesse with a manual 4 speed gearbox. Many new parts including new aluminium radiator, alternator, water pump, clutch, master cylinders, discs, callipers, fuel pipes, brake lines, and radial tyres.
Carbs have been rebuilt and tuned up. Lovely rumble from the stainless exhaust.
Simple interior, bucket seats, wood rim steering wheel, all gauges work. The car has a few 'modern' upgrades, such as battery isolator, hazard warning lights, buzzer on indicators, USB charging port, spotlights on full beam, electronic ignition and a mohair tonneau cover in black.
Finished in silver with painted cream strips, numbers are vinyl stickers which are easily removed if not to your taste.
Parts are readily available for Triumphs, chassis engine/ box axles are all standard parts.
