Here for sale is my V reg 1999 LDV Convoy Camper van. Converted when new by Caratec Leisure, this model being the ‘Carapace’
The vehicle has Ford based running gear, so has the reliable Ford Transit 2. 5 Turbo diesel underpinnings. It has covered only 48, 800 miles from new, and I am the second owner and have owned the motorhome for 20 years.
It has the Quaiffe twin axle differential, so is a robust vehicle and has been very reliable in my ownership.
It sleeps four, should it need to and has everything you might need when you are on the road. Sleeping arrangements are 2 up 2 down, the seats convert on the lower level and the roof space houses the other bed. Hopefully photographs will explain most of everything you need to know?
It comes with a fitted tow bar and 2 (new) HD batteries.
It has an Eberspacher unit producing hot air and water. It also has an emmersion heater and radiator.
It carries the usual kitchen sink unit, fridge and cooker and carries the water tanks for fresh and waste water.
The vehicle has good storage areas and has mains hook up, and the benefit of a side pull out awning, so hopefully all you need.
The mot on the van has recently been carried out and expires on 30/ 03/ 26.
