Ok. It's time to finally make this decision. For reasons I won't go into, I am putting this rare MK1 Cabrio project up for sale.
It was vandalised and taken off the road in around 1987 and sat in a barn since then.
It needs a new roof (there is none) and a windscreen. It will need some other restoration but those are the major items. Needs new front lights. Needs a small bit of welding to the left rear sill. Otherwise the car is very solid. It will need painted. Original wheels are included. Engine turns over but I haven't tried to start it. These are so simple that I don't see that being an issue with some fresh fuel and battery.
It has the original set of keys. The doors open and close so smoothly - no seized latches or hinges.
It's an original Northern Ireland car and that is where it still lives. More pictures available if needed.
