Description
BSA Bantam D7 - 1965 Project
Excellent looking machine. Previously restored to a very good looking condition. It appears that all work has been done well including a very nice paint job.
The machine was purchased as a non-runner and is being sold as such.
I have fitted a new battery.
There is good compression.
I have had it running briefly and it sounded fine but I have been unable to start it since. My knowledge being 'limited'!!!
It does spark. I suspected the carburetor and worked on the after-market carburetor fitted but have since purchased a used Amal but not got around to fitting it.
The bike comes with a little paperwork & a manual.
The bike is registered as a historic vehicle with a V5 in my name.
It is sold 'as is' in good faith.
There is no guarantee, however you are welcome to visit and inspect.
I have simply 'run out of time' with it due to other commitments and do not see me having time in the near future.
I can deliver if required. I bought it having previously been able to re-commission historic bikes by simple plugs, petrol, carb cleaning etc.
This one seems to require more knowledge to get it running.
It is well priced, to sell and it should allow the buyer to get a very good bike at a great price.
