Description
I bought this Striker from the guy who built it to a very high standard. As you can see from the mileage and previous MoT history, I haven't done many miles since I acquired it in 2019. In fact since the last test, it hasn't been out at all, hence the reason for the sale. It comes with a comprehensive build history with virtually every receipt, being built entirely from new or refurbished parts. The engine is a CVH 1600 from an XR2 and had a complet rebuild. The gearbox is a 5 speed unit from I believe a Sierra.
It is a quick car with rapid acceleration and is quite loud. It does have the glass fibre "doors" and I have acquired a roof though this was from another striker and will need some alteration to the position of the fasteners to fit.
It is correctly registered with a non "Q" plate, I did have a private plate on for a couple of years but it is now registered with the original.
It is MoT'd until September but as I said it's not moved much in the last year and may need a looking over for the next.
The only issue of note is that the fuel guage registers full until around the last gallon then starts to go reduce. I put the GPS decals on mainly because it is the initials of the Jeremy Phillips Sportscar club, Jeremy being the designer and supplier of the kits. These would be easy to remove.
