Description
As you can see Not BSA Bantam, not a listing category for this bike so listed as similar… the bike was made by the UT Motorcycle Company in a town called Unterturkiem near Stuttgart Germany, model is a KT125 powered by a split single 125cc two stroke engine, it was registered in UK in 1959, having been imported from Bermuda on the SS ESSEQUIBO, manufactured around 1954, it is in its original paintwork has a nicely aged pattena, the bike was unused for many years but re commissioned a few years ago years ago, when a new main bearing was fitted and it was re wired, also the magneto ignition unit was replaced, recently it has had new tyres, it runs nicely and is an easy starter, it comes with V5 in my name, listed as an historic vehicle, and the original brown log book, I have owned this bike for a few years, and have ridden it to local meets where people take interest for its rarity, have only met one person who new where it was made, and that was the person who re commissioned it, who I met a Vintage bike meet, he sold it to the person I purchased it from, always creates interest when you park up, has some nice vintage details, toolbox in tank, dipsticks in rear plunger units , lift up rear mudguard, with quick release spindle to allow sprocket and hub to remain in place when changing tyre or tube, steering damper, and the original bicycle pump in a hidden recess under the tank. All in all a nice little German classic
