This charming 1970 DAF 55 has been in our family since 1974, when we purchased it with only 30, 851 km on the odometer. Today, the mileage stands at just 55, 310 km.
The car has been dry-stored in our private garage since 1986 and has not been driven since. Thanks to careful storage, the underbody was treated with oil at the time and remains in solid condition. It still sits on a good set of Michelin tyres, and an additional set of wheels with worn tyres is included in the sale.
In preparation for sale, the brakes were cleaned in 2025 and the engine has been started—it runs and is in working order.
However, as the vehicle has been off the road for nearly four decades, some recommissioning is required before it can be driven again. We recommend:

-Cleaning the fuel tank
-Possibly replacing the Variomatic belt
