BSA C11G 250cc 1951
Grand little C11g in totally original condition, not restored.
Not been used for a number of years but starts first kick, no smoke, ticks over nicely, all gears select, clutch good, brakes work, steering feels good too, new front tyre and tube, new battery, new needle and jet in the carb', but the throttle is a bit stiff and cable and twist grip need fiddling with as it does not rev up easily enough.
Dynamo is not charging, lights are working including brake light, horn has to be fitted and wired to the existing original horn button.
Tank is good, no leaks, lined, no rust. Petrol tap is original and does not leak either.
Some of the paint is original, the tank paint and chrome are not good, but generally I think the bike is nice to use just as it is. Just needs the usual fiddling with of all 75 year olds!
