Here we have my mercedes hymermobil 720 that I've owned for 4 years with the original intention to take to Spain or Portugal to live in but family commitments mean she has to go to someone who's
going to appreciate her the way I have... it's UK registered & I'm the second owner the original being a German family (so it's left hand drive) who kept it undercover most of its life & used it for holidays to Italy twice a year towing a couple of monkey bikes (it has tow bar & electrics) it's a mercedes 508d (3. 8)a very simple robust engine with minimal electrics & a push button start & pull lever stop it's a 1978 model so tax & MOT exempt it's been well cared for & maintained by the previous owner & I've looked after & maintained it replacing anything worn out but keeping it as original as possible mechanically it's bullet proof but all the service items ie oils coolant & brakes ect have been changed internally I've replaced the flooring , carpets all the skylights new mattresses thermal curtains it needs a new toilet as I've just recently put a stainless steel shower tray & sink unit in..& couldn't decide on a new Thetford or composting loo. it has a diesel blow air heater & all of the original cabinets & the original working fridge it hasn't got any damp & I've kept it dehumidified & warm as I've been living in it it's an old school camper so no bells & whistles it's 24ft long & weighs around 5000kg so you'll need the correct licence & it won't go much above 50mph so you'll get more time to view the scenery .. I bought it on a whim as I though it looked great I had an airstream before this & thought I want something old (46) simple (no turbo dpf electrics glow plugs ect) to go wrong & it sounds like a tractor
