Reluctant sale of this enjoyable 1275 MK IV Sprite. Always dry-stored, mechanically excellent and ready to drive and enjoy.
Very well looked after as paperwork back to 1997 shows. Heritage Motor certificate and Sprite registered with the AH owners club.
More recent work carried out by the excellent Robin Lackford Motor Engineering, including:
• Reconditioned replacement SU Carbs (Jan 22)
• New stainless steel exhaust (July 21)
• Hazard light switch fitted to fill dashboard hole (April 23)
Previous work:
• Automatic electric fan added by previous owner.
• Dynamo to alternator.
• Engine rebuild in 1997 (mileage seemingly from then)
Please note:
• Scratches on bonnet as shown.
• Photos beautifully, but bonnet colour not a perfect colour match.
This car is reliable, drives beautifully and is ready to be enjoyed. It has been very well cared for (as records show), and currently doesn’t get the driving it deserves due to young family.
This ’68 Sprite is the best of the Mk 2-4 Sprites. Still beautiful (before the 70s hit!), capable engine, and stow-away-no-fuss hood.
