Had a full engine rebuild by Surreyside Autohaus (£6-7k spent) within the first year of purchasing:
Including KO4 Turbos, RS4 clutch, custom intercooler, upgraded hoses/ pipes, timing belt kit as well as many other components.
Full exhaust my MIJ Performance (lifetime warranty) new exhaust hangers
Remapped by MRC - just under 400bhp
Will include few extra alloys
Bad bits :
Suspension will need doing all around, getting soft now. Dash has pixels missing , very common fault
Brakes/ pipes need upgrading even though it has EBC brakes at the moment
Just needs upgraded injectors and fuel pump upgrades to push it 500bhp.
Very quick car for what it is, pulls very strong in all gears. Not for the faint hearted.!
Has always been cooled down prior to switching off
There's not many manual A6 Biturbos left on the market.
It has been cared for but will need some time and money to get it to a better state.
