1989 Dutton Legerra
Here for sale is my super rare Dutton legerra with only around 120 built.
This is a very usable and well handling 80’s kit car with a multi tubular chassis, adjustable coilover suspension and ford running gear, 1600 crossflow engine, 4 speed manual gearbox and Ford axle. Makes this car great fun to drive and has potential to be a competitive trials/ rally car. The car took place in the lands end 100th trial last year completing over 500 miles with no faults.
The car has recently had a complete mechanical overhaul including new clutch, rear main seal, gearbox oil, diff oil, complete engine service, electronic ignition, new water pump, high output alternator, radiator hoses, new fuel pump and fuel lines, sump seal, new front wheel bearings, callipers, pads, flexi pipes and new aluminium radiator.
Nice red interior and mountney steering wheel, everything works as it should.
Ready to jump in and enjoy for the summer, has just passed its mot with no advisories and has 4 brand new tyres. Very reliable and fun cheap classic car.
