This motorcycle is in reasonably good condition.
Runs well.
I filled the tank with petrol/ oil when I bought the bike and I have done 105 miles and it is not on reserve as yet.
I changed the gear oil when I bought it and have not changed it since. I first rode a motorcycle in late 1977 and in 1978 I bought my first motorcycle which was an ES150 Trophy.
Since then, I have had many bikes, but there came a point that I kind of wanted to go back to where it all began.
So, on the 17th December 2021 I bought a ES250/ 2 Trophy.
I haven’t used it much it just lived in the garage most of the time.
I managed to find a second-hand rack, which I had worked on then fitted.
The milage when I bought it was 11, 750.
The present milage is 11, 855.
So, milage done: 105 miles.
I could never get on with a left-hand kick start.
On the 10th March 2026 I stripped down the carb for a clean just in case it was gunked up which I am pleased to say it was not.
The air filter is one I had fitted and was still in good shape so not changed.
I also put a new spark plug in as well, then I went for a jolly good ride.
In April 2025 I fitted a new 01214 Blitz 6-volt battery.
There are some spares, bits & bob’s shown in the top box which comes with the motorcycle.

Has the vehicle ever been imported?
Not imported as far as I know.
Has there ever been any major structural issues which needed work?
The V5c states that the vehicle was salvaged because the estimated cost of commercial repair was more then the value of the vehicle.
Has the vehicle ever been declared a total loss?
I answered Yes, as the last question would lead you to believe it was.
I purchased the motorcycle for £2850. 00.
