For sale is my Audi A8 D2 with relatively low mileage for the age. Being 1999 (T-plate) it is an early face-lift example in desirable Sport trim. It comes with all top of the range drivetrain technology Audi had to offer in the late 90's: V8, 40 valve, quad cam engine mated with 5 speed automatic gearbox, Tiptronic manual gear change option using buttons located on the steering wheel, Quattro four wheel drive system. What's important - it was first 'mass' produced car with the body made of aluminum. Technology called by the manufacturer 'ASF' - Audi Space Frame. The Sport trim makes it look like the Audi S8 of that era – same interior with these fantastic fully electric adjustable 'Recaro' leather seats with memory, same three spoke steering wheel and lowered suspension. It falls into lower Road Tax bracket but, it is not ULEZ exempt.
Above the usual high A8's specification it comes with heated front seats, front and rear parking sensors, double glazed windows, rear window electric blind, rear side windows blinds, Audi Concert radio with 6 CD changer in the boot, BOSE sound system, GSM Phone (Nokia) integrated to front armrest, tilt and slide solar sunroof, power fold external mirrors, electric rear seat pack, Xenon (HID) headlights.
The A8 comes with 3 keys, manuals, service history, some selling brochures including price list for this year and even original sales invoice from Audi Dartford. HPI clear. I believe that vehicle's condition speaks for itself. For my peace of mind, as you can read above, I have done recently all the service items it needed as I had intention to enjoy it longer. The car is asking for nothing but an oil change in 9 months time. It's just too good to be used daily and deserves the ownership of another classic Audi enthusiast. My asking price is less then 10% of it's original retail price including all the options, back in a day. What a deal!

Based in Silverstone area. My phone number: the details below. Bodywork is 95% very good – some age related hair like scratches here and there, otherwise very shiny and solid. If you are super-critical: top of the rear bumper below reg plate is little less shiny then the rest of the paintwork, area between rear passenger's wheel arch and door has met sth firmer in the past and is slightly pushed in. With the emphasis on 'slightly'. No signs of corrosion whatsoever - guess why. Some stone chips were treated with touch-up pen straight away. New Bosch wiper blades fitted this spring.
Engine and transmission are excellent with no known issues. No leaks whatsoever. In March this year it has received a big service to include: Shell Helix Ultra engine oil and oil filter, air filter, fuel filter (all filters by Mahle), pollen filters (genuine Audi). Additionally transfer box, front and rear differential oil (Millers Oils), G12 coolant and Thermostat (BEHR) has been changed. Two years ago (2000 miles) it had spark plugs, alternator, auxiliary belt and automatic gearbox fluid and filter replaced. Cambelt kit and water pump done at 72000 miles.
Suspension, brakes, steering – the suspension is tight and silent, front brake and rear discs were good when front and rear brake pads hwere fitted in April this year. Brake fluid and power steering fluid (correct mineral from Febi) changed in April 2024 as well.
Tyres, rims - All four tyres are matching Hankook Evo with 6mm+ of tread left. Upgraded 19in genuine Audi 'SQ5' alloy wheels to give it a touch of modern look in original diamond cut finish - straight, never welded. Wheel alignment performed in April 2024.
Interior – Dark grey thick, real leather interior with real Walnut polished wood trim and matching headlining in very good, clean condition. Driver's seat lower bolster is a bit out of shape but, with very little discolouration. All seats clean with lovely preserved satin finish. Carpets and floor mats also clean. Everything works, heated seats, all electric windows, sunroof and remote central locking. Air conditioning has been re-gassed earlier on this year.
