We have decided to part with our factory high top panel van as we have purchased a split screen project. We have completely restored our high top over the last few years it has been a complete nut and bolt restoration taken back to bare metal.
The van originally comes from South Africa arriving here a few years ago as a rolling shell we have bought endless new parts and a UK donor vehicle for other missing bits. The vans 1600cc engine is new as are all the ancillary parts with an empi 32/ 36 carburettor, the gear box is a 6 rib refurbished unit, all welding has been done, repainted and rubberised underneath, we have a full restoration file of pictures and invoices from start to finish. The suspension is lowered on adjustable spring plates on the rear and adjustable front suspension beam, brake system is completely new, we have the original steel wheels powder coated white with new tyres on and best quality hub caps if wanted.
The interior is completely insulated and lined out with new boarding painted with yacht varnish as can been seen in the photos with plenty of cupboard space with rock and roll bed, the cushions are new and never been slept on. We have just got her out of winter storage and given her an MOT ready for show season she did get a couple of minor advisories a flickering hazard light slight weep from rear brake proportioning valve and horn not working which will be sorted in the next couple of days. Retest is in a week and she is good to go. (All sorted now with full mot)
