A7 SS in green lane trim, 1956
Shooting star engined A7 with high level side pipes with baffles so it’s not too noisy!
21” front and 18” rear wheel with mitas trial tyres
New 90ilb rear shod from NJB
Ally guards and sump guard , no lights so day time use only, dynamo and all lighting electrics removed ( I dont have them by the way) just runs on the magneto.
No major leaks, I replaced the gearbox drive sprocket seal recently, but it is British so there’s always a little weap somewhere.
Had a recent rebuild (previous owner) with new pistons, oil pump etc. slightly newer cases as original damaged (still have).
About 1, 000 miles since build.
No speedo, I use beeline as odometer and speedo and just record mileage, so cant say what mileage the bike has done.
All round good conditiongreat light weight machine for the back lanes or some gentle green lanes. Easy starter, good runner. Surprisingly comfortable.
