We have added this uprated Swift Formula Ford, our seller has hung up the driving gloves. This is great formula ford chassis. The car is in our client's hanger at the Hood River airport in Oregon. This car was advertised several months ago, then pulled as the owner just was not sure he would retire. So, now the decision has been made, now up until sold. 1985 SWIFT DB1. No expense spared on this build. Great specs, above and beyond for a Formula Ford. Beautiful and fast! I visited the car Friday 10/ 4/ 24. Our client is a returning customer, and his cars are always above the norm. MORE pics on the way, but I wanted to get this up for sale, it is very very well built. Some of the highlights are;
Ivey engine; Taken back to Jay, he said, run it as-is. Leakdown done.
AIM system.
Aluminum head; redone 2023.
Aluminum radiator w/ spare.
2023 redone box by Taylor. Even the shift lever at box has no leaks!
Rotors are custom. Scalloped and slotted.
Pertronix ign.
New brake calipers all corners. Speed Bleed for 0ne-man bleeding.
Uprights were custom machined by Fast Forward Machines; in Florida. "BOTH" front and rear wheels spin like a roulette wheel!
Extra painted nose piece.
Front balanced by Two Doggs Inc; in Illinois.
2 sessions on the tires.
Extra set of wheels w/ tires mounted.
Upgraded starter.
Both brake masters are new.
Pre-oiler for pressure. Current owner racing twice a year in the Northwest USA with vintage org SOVREN.
