For sale is my lovely Caterham CSR200.
It was purchased from Callum @ Turn7 in November 2024, however redundancy in April this year means the car now needs to find a new home.
This vibrant Viper Blue Caterham has covered only 22, 500 miles in its 20 years and was 1 of only 39 UK spec'd CSR200s (200ps / 197bhp) using the same 2. 3 Cosworth Duratec engine as the track-focused CSR260.
This original buyer specified this one with the optional 6 speed sprint box, dry sump and Limited Slip Differential which I prefer to have.
It has the CSR inboard front and fully independent rear suspension along with the modular dashboard, a great heater, indicator and windscreen wiper stalks(!) and lowered floors both sides to ensure it's roomy enough for most people.
The most recent service and MoT were done in November 2024 by Callum's team @ Turn7 before I purchased it so are not due until the winter. For my peace of mind, I paid extra for the Team Leos replacement rear suspension clevices (£675 parts invoice included) and these were installed by Turn7. I also just upgraded the standard headlights with Cafe Racer LED units.
Apart from the very comfy leather seats, 4 point harnesses and full wet weather gear in great condition, it also has carbon front arches, carbon whiskers, carbon indicator pods, carbon sill guards and carbon rear arch protectors as well as a high level brake light. 2 x keys / alarm fobs included together with full service history.
The anthracite Superlight wheels (staggered 15x7 front and 15x9 rears) are in unmarked condition and are shod with grippy Avon ZZS.
