Shell
A Major Rebuild of the whole car took place in 1993 Including any Ply replacement where needed , since been dry stored and generally dry use . In 2011 was spayed in the current Kawasaki Green, the overall condition of the GRP is very good . It is not a concourse show finish and has shade changes and odd marks .
Engine
From 1993 to 2011 did approx. 17k miles on the original 875cc engine .
In 2012 the whole engine was rebuilt and converted to 998cc fast road specification by Corley Conversions (Ben Boult )R17 cam , new vales , springs , multi sprocket timing gear high capacity oil pump , competition head and rod bolts , lightened balanced flywheel , competition clutch . water pump , radiator core at 2288 miles showing . Further work carried out to cam carrier in 2014 at 3305 miles showing
In 2024 New wills rings and Carter Style Head modification fitted by Andy Jones of Shrigley Engineering and set up on Dyno video available . at 4872 miles showing so has done approx. 2700 miles since newly built .
Other Works Completed
New Brakes , cylinders and drive couplings fitted , TRE’s Doughnut Bolts , New uprated springs , front and rear adjustable AVO Dampers steering rack renovated , superflex bushes new king pins in 2015 , wheel bearings gear selection modification , re-wired and fuse box mod with battery cut off , wiring diagram all detailed in paperwork , door mirrors fitted , rear subframe removed and modified as per Clan recommendations , inertia seat belts . Full Clan specific Carpets fitted good quality . Full sunroof renovation .
In 2024 and additional suction type electric Fan with Thermostat and override function , brand new Alternator , full oil and filter change and new plugs flexi fuel pipes replaced .
In summary the car has been well maintained over the last 20+ years and since Engine being built has only done less than 3k miles so although parts have been fitted some years earlier they have not been excessively used and are all in full working condition , car is ready to use and improve if you so wish .
