For sale a cool a quirky Soviet era uaz 452 4x4 pickup. A rare and unusual site in the UK, I brought this truck along with another one in similar condition, I've mostly restored the other one and have decided to try and move this one on as it is so I can invest my time into my other uazes. Approx year is about 1978. Please note this truck is in rough condition and it is a project however The uaz will start and run and drive and even stop on the brake pedal! The 4x4, high- low , hand brake etc are all working. The cab for it's ages is not awful, there are some rust holes in the drivers foot well and some past repairs in other places but over all it appears to be quite solid. The chassis is in remarkable condition showing no signs of rust or previous repairs. The engine is a 2. 4 petrol and has been upgraded in its working life to a 100hp Volga variant engine, I have not ran it for a long duration but it seems healthy and I have driven it around the fields without much trouble. The interior is rough and the panels come with plenty of dents and scratches. The wooden bed seems to be in very good order with removable high sides and a solid floor. From working on the other one I can tell you these are incredibly easy and actually enjoyable vehicles to work on, everything it very simple on them. Parts are very easy to buy from many different countries at reasonable prices.
