Picked this up from a deceased estate a few months ago as a future project, but sadly the property my workshop is on has been put up for sale so need to move some things on.
Used to be owned by a club member and had a good amount of work completed under their ownership including a new 998 Imp Sport engine from what I'm told. This was a long time ago, but the body shell does still appear to be in good condition, with the plywood that can be seen being solid (the paint is terrible and there is some crazing though).
I have managed to fire the engine up with some fuel down the inlets, but it won't idle as I'm pretty sure the carbs are gummed up. For the short time it does run it sounds happy enough and makes oil pressure.
However, all parts of the car need significant work with many new parts needed. This isn't a little job!
Rolls freely and I have a trailer so may be able to help deliver within 50 miles of CV37 at a fair price.
