Norton Atlas 750cc 1966 in excellent original condition and running very well. Lovely to ride with great character and starts well.

Superb Norton Featherbed handling with great torque from the Atlas engine. Improved with the Triumph Twin Leading Shoe front brake which is better than the normal Commando alternative and is easily restored if preferred. Rack and matching Topbox for convenient carriage.
The paint finish and chrome is all excellent. The fuel tank appears to be new.
Matching engine & frame numbers and imported in 1999 with age related registration number and Historic vehicle class so no Road Tax or MOT requirement.
Fitted with single carburettor conversion for simplicity and smoother running ( originals included ). Tyres are Bridgestone Battle Wing giving much better grip than standard types and a much safer feeling. I have left the Lucas K2F magneto on and retains some originality.
Slight faults are the rear original rechromed mudguard has marks and a silencer has a dent.
I have to reduce my collection because of moving home. The Norton Atlas has excellent safe handling from the famous Featherbed frame and great torque from the 750cc engine.
I bought it for it's historical significance and memories of one I had in 1968.
