Welcome to my listing for a very genuine Ducati 748S.
This is the desirable ‘S’ model complete with lighter 5-spoke Marchesini wheels in grey to match the grey frame, also retaining the earlier adjustable steering head. Showa rear shock unit and Showa forks making use of Titanium-Nitride (TiN) coating on the fork stanchions to "reduce stiction", which also gave it a gold colouring. The engine is the same as the highly tuned used in the 748 SP and SPS models.
Covered only 12000miles from new supported with previous MOT’s and comprehensive service history. Recent extensive recommissioning work to include full service, timing belts / pulleys, new Pirelli Rosso tyres, Motobatt battery, fuel pump filter at a cost of £2200! (Receipt available).
Runs and sounds absolutely superb with the Termis, pulls like a train and great handling.
Full MOT just completed with no advisories.
Always kept indoors, hence in superb condition for a 25 year old example. Offered for sale as am reducing my collection of iconic bikes as they are not getting used.
